About the instructors

Aleatha Singleton
XR UX Design Instructor | Emerging Tech Enthusiast
I’ve been a UX Designer for over 24 years. As a seasoned UX designer and future tech enthusiast turned XR specialist, I’ve walked the path from frustration to fulfillment. My journey began in traditional 2D design, where I often felt stuck and unfulfilled. The desire to break into XR (extended reality) design was strong, but opportunities were scarce. When they finally came, I faced self-doubt and the fear of not meeting expectations.
However, those challenges became my greatest teachers. I learned what it takes to transition into XR design and how to overcome the obstacles that come with it. Today, I’m passionate about equipping future designers to avoid the pitfalls I faced. As an instructor of XR UX design, I share my expertise to help others build immersive experiences with confidence.
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can grow both technically and creatively. By sharing my own story and insights, I aim to inspire and guide the next generation of UX designers to achieve their full potential.

Anil Sapkota
Learning Designer | Instructional Design Strategist
XR and learning was uncharted territory for me. I started out as a project manager and XR developer, focused on building the tech. But the more I worked, the more I realized XR’s real power wasn’t in the graphics or code: it was in how it could change the way people learn.
That realization led me to pivot into learning science. I wanted to understand how to design XR training that actually helps people practice, improve, and perform.
Now, as an XR instructional designer, I bring both worlds together. In my courses, I guide participants through breaking down and rebuilding VR training experiences, so they can design with confidence and create learning that truly works.
